The number of hours, from 2 on up, and where to spend them depends on your specific goals and the span of exam topics you need to cover.

Many Exam Success students use tutoring as a study supplement and they generally have a sense of what their strengths and weaknesses are and want to drill down on specific topics, concepts or questions they find challenging. With the focused attention tutoring delivers, they are able to get over the passing score.

The decision as to how many tutoring hours to take ultimately will come down to your specific situation and needs — there is no set tutoring syllabus.

If you think you might be interested in many hours of tutoring, it is suggested you start with one or two initial sessions to ensure that your coaching sessions are adequately useful.

Exam Success’ live online tutoring provides a real-time, interactive experience, and is available to anyone with an internet connection from the comfort of any place at a time that is convenient for you (tutoring times are subject to availability). Booking is easy and fast (< 2 minutes):

1. Select the Free Consultation (15 minutes) or Paid Tutoring (min 2 hours) option.

Note: If you are unsure about jumping into tutoring, a consultation with Prof. Gordon will provide you the opportunity to get to know each other prior to you purchasing tutoring hours.

2. Select the date and time slot for your web conference (zoom meeting).

Due to high demand, we often have limited availability (especially in our busiest periods right before exams). We recommend you book 2-3 weeks in advance of your ideal meeting date.

3. Complete the contact/intake form.

Be sure to provide us with information about yourself, including the name of the exam you are preparing for, your planned exam date, your educational background, your previous study/exam experience… Please keep in mind that the more detailed the information the better we will be able to serve you.

4. Enter your credit card information (not required for a free consultation).

Payment Policy:

1. The total cost of the Exam Success tutoring depends on the number of tutoring hours booked. To receive Exam Success tutoring the student must pay the full amount at the time of booking, prior to the session.

2. All prices listed are in Canadian dollars. Taxes are extra.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Exam Success must receive written notification of the Student’s intention to withdraw from tutoring 48 hours or more prior to the initial tutoring session. If notification is received by 48 hours before the tutoring session a refund for that session less a fifty dollar ($50.00) nonrefundable administrative fee will be arranged.

2. For a Student currently being tutored who needs to reschedule or cancel a tutoring appointment, the Student must notify Exam Success 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. Otherwise, Student will be charged for the scheduled session.
